Sheraton Sonoma Wine Country Petaluma Hotel, Petaluma

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were incredibly quiet, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. They were clean and overlooked the parking lot, offering a peaceful atmosphere even amidst a national emergency situation. The service was lovely, with very friendly and accommodating staff, making me feel truly welcome. The location was ideal, close to wineries and good restaurants, and right on the river, making it perfect for those with a car looking to explore the area easily. The dining experience was delicious overall, although there was a minor hiccup with undercooked eggs and greasy potatoes one morning. The facilities were great, offering dry cleaning, shops, commercial services, and laundry options.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the room I stayed in was clean and a good size, it didn't have a Marina view, and the view was pretty bad, overlooking a concrete ceiling. However, the service was superb, with extremely friendly and helpful staff, although a bit slow at times. The location was hit or miss, being right on a busy road, but tucked away in a nice spot by the water in Petaluma. The dining options were decent but had some misses like undercooked eggs and greasy potatoes. The facilities were satisfactory overall.
